CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN 1 for PHASE 2 FILMING LAUNCHED. FUNDS NEEDED TO COMPLETE UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY AND ONE ADDITIONAL DAY OF SHOOTING.

PHASE 2 of filming gets delayed by hurricane Fiona..

​

phase 2 of filming gets underway filming on september 30 in ceiba pier in Roosevelt roads and in playa los machos in ceiba. thanks to the ceiba municipality for having a smooth permit administration with production. filming concluded with beautiful night scene shoot in playa los machos. filming was wrapped! thanks to everyone who supported crowdfunding!

 

OCTOBER 2022 

Gabriel Coss from Rojo Chiringa helps out with editing and finishes rough cut for screening at the FESTIVAL DE CINE EUROPEO held in Fine arts Cinemas Miramar. We screened LA LINEA IMAGINARIA as a rough cut with temp tracks. Although a solid screening, the film needs an original music score, further editing and a proper Sounddesign.

NOVEMBER 2022

MARCEL BARSOTTI, renowmed swiss-italian composer for the German blockbuster films DIE PäPSTIN & DIE HEBAMME agrees to score the picture. After discussions, MARCELS embarks on a musical journey with heavy synthethizer wok and voices. He constructs a wonderful soundtrack that emotionally underscores the story. the score is available on iTunes, Spotify and other social media outlets.

JANUARY 2023 

FINAL steps with CHANNEL WIPR and tHE FONDO TALLER DRAMATICO LUCY BOSCANA are undertaken to secure a partial sale of the rights to the film in Puerto Rico. This helps to pay a part of production costs. LA LINEA IMAGINARIA will be screened later in the year as part of WIPR and its app WIPR+. This helps repay a loan undertaken to finance the filming of three days of shooting. The total estimated budget of the film is $46,000.

FEBRURAY 2023

After a brief hiatus, Philip Escobar Jung re edits the film for a final Festival Version. the film is two minutes shorter and contains the new soundtrack from MARCEL BARSOTTI. Partial color correction on added shots is made and subtitles are created.

MARCH 2023

ARJUN DEMEYERE agrees to jump on board as Sounddesigner. Having worked with Philip before, ARJUn begins the painstaking work of creating the soundscape off the film, which includes cleaning up dialogues, reducing ocean noise and adding atmospheric sounds to the picture.

MAY-JUNE 2023

Philip submits to THE PR FILM COMMISSION (CORP. DE CINE DE PR) a request for funding for postproduction and  marketing costs. LA LINEA IMAGINARIA created about 50 jobs for local crews and injected about $46,000 into the Puerro Rico economy.  But those funds were paid by private monies from SUPER SEVEN FILMS which need to be recouped in order to continue shooting movies in Puerto Rico. SUPER SEVEN FILMS  is awaiting their response.

JULY 2023

​

CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN 2 for POSTPRODUCTION AND MARKETING will be LAUNCHED. The funds are needed to finish sounddesign and finish the final mix of the movie fro cinema projection in surround sound 5.1. They will also help secure a budget for submissions to film festivals across the world and for the creation of print and marketing materials such as posters, t shirts, Banners, etc.. The funds will also help set a proper film premiere to be held in Puerto Rico..

JULY 2023

Talks begin to hold a proper CINEMA PREMIERE-FUNDRAISNG EVENT in the refurbished ROOSEVELT CINEMA in Hato Rey.
